Well, the look is okay. It's nothing too unique, I'll leave more specific suggestions for people with more artistic ability.

Now for the code... well, uh, it needs a lot of work. It is grossly inefficent but it looks like you use some sort of template that has ads in it and that'd be why. Also in your content section of the page, your mixing XHTML in with a HTML 4.0 Doctype, e.g. you are using <br /> when it should be <br>. Also you should use paragraph (<p>) tags around your paragraphs intread of putting double line breaks in. If you can, you should really just re-write your page without using that template, it'd be some much smaller, file size wise. It wouldn't be that hard to do.

My only gripe is that it's black...black...black.

Makes it seem a bit depressing to be honest, come on let's have a bit of brightness and crispness to it! To coin a phrase "lighten up!" ;)

Without trying sound too harsh - change the damn font. And yes, it's too dark for my liking (even though I do build dark sites...). Other than that the layout is okay.

Also, sure that's not a template?
