multiple actions for layers

Had an idea while asleep. Is it possible to slide a layer to one point, stop, then slide it to another point and so on...?

Yes! you can do that!

first off you gatta know the exact coordinates you want the layer to move to.
once you know that the rest is easy.

create a setTimeout to repeat itself until conditions are met (like getting to a specified coordinate). once there have the function check to see where it is at and depending on the new coordinates proceed to the next set of coordinates.

But this is in fact exactly the basic principle of the sliding. Move to one point than move to another using a setTimeout() method... What is so intricate?
