Dreamweaver MX

I have a problem with dreamweaver putting a / in front of my links. when I use free space it links it to my sign in instead of my folder. how do I get the / removed? I have done it in DW 3 but don't remember how I did it. Any Ideas?

go to Site > Define Sites

Then make sure you pick the directory in which your website resides... This should work...
