Good for you. But those titles are meaningless, I mean, I'm not addicted, I could quit any time, I swear, no really, <off to post somewhere else>.

lol yeah true, but this is the first forum where I've actually hung around rather than signing up, posting 1 or 2 things and then buggering off :p

Do I even want to know what a beezlebub is?

Call him crazy/evil/whatever a beezlebub is all you want, he still out-ranks you ;)

That's great weazel, I'm glad you're happy, but a word of caution: There is much debate amongst the powers that be regarding users making meaningless posts for the sake of boosting their post count and 'status'...
If it becomes obvious that this practice is occuring, say goodbye to the member status for everyone ;)

I think that's a general statement from most forums thesedays.

Posts counts are pointless IMO and serve no purpose.

That's true... I was bored so started this thread about my nut-dom :p

The thing is, it isn't necessarily your post count that matters, what does matter however is the head you've got on your shoulders. We are all here to help people, and get help outselves, so a good head with a wide range of knowledge is essential IMO.

This is a meaningless crap post. But it's not my fault. I am an addict.

We admitted we were powerless over our addiction - that our lives had become unmanageable...

All very well, but does it matter? Do I care that I have a meager 800 and something posts? No. Not really. Remember, it's quality not quantity. This may seem harsh, but I benefit hugely at times from people with less than 50 posts, to me it's the ones that help out when they can and when it's required that make the difference. Similarly, I've been about since the WA forum (as have many others, and some even long before that;)) and I've been helped out by countless people, and hopefully I've helped even more than that. Does it make me any lesser member having 800 posts? Of course not. Will I disregard solutions from a Newbie because a Nut also contributes? Not at all. It is nice to see how many posts someone has, but it's by no means a measure of their usefullness. I could sign up with a new account tomorrow and make 1000 posts in 6 months, yay, but it would have little benefit to the community. It's when people say "Look at that top 10 posters list, I want to be there" rather than "Look at the 21,091 members, let's help them out" that the community aspect is weakened.

Well done, it's cool to see you helping out, really it is, but it's not that big a deal really, what matters is making every one of those posts as helpful as possible. I apoligise if you think this is harsh, but this is how I see it.

Happy posting

I see your point red, it's the quality of posts and not the quantity. I as well get helped from people with a small post count. At the end of the day, it is down to everyone helping everyone else out ~ so the forum community can go from strength to strength.
