View Full Version : Drop Down Menu Position and Browser Window Re-sizing Help

Hello All,
First I am a novice (and I may be referencing this incorrectly but here is what I need help with) but I was able to figure out how to work with a PHP/Javascript for a website I plan to design. I need help with a problem I am having and not sure if it is a javascript or php problem. I was able to get the CATAGORIES and ALL NAVIGATIONAL LINKS to work properly. The Drop Down Menu Works how I want it to work. THE PROBLEM is when I move my window size it changers the position of the drop-down-menu and I want it to remain in one locked position even if the user sizes the window up or down. I WANT THE DROP DOWN MENU TO STAY UNDER THE CATAGORY "JEWELRY" wether the window is scaled up or down. The site is posted on the web at: http://www.colouredhard.com/kempler/index.php

I have an "fw_menu.js" on the server and I am not sure if I have to change something in that file or if it is something I need to add to the code of the nagigation on the pages. The navigation will be the same for all of the pages I will design. I figured everything out EXCEPT on how to get the code to work. I think it may have something to do with a part of a code that says "position absolute" or something like that. I have tested it in IE, SAFARI and Netscape with the same results in ll browsers. ANY HELP on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading and taking time out of your busy day to respond.
