View Full Version : Text disappears in IE6 when having a backgroundimage

This is a really weird bug.
When you go to the layout I made using divs (http://www.cncdepot.net/whiteboysrules/) in IE6 you see that the page loads, it looks fine.

Though some people like hard-refreshing the page with Ctrl-F5, and then it happens. You see the text first, after that, it disappears :eek: . You have to select everything so you can read it, then it's visible.

I've attached a screenshot of what I mean.

Is it my browser or is a general known problem? What can I do against it?

Odd, I'm not getting the problem here on IE6...

I see the problem when I first load and every time I reload, but it disappears when I resize the window.

After playing around a bit, I found increasing the width of the wrapper to 722px or more seems to solve the problem.

And, of course, that makes no sense, but it is what it is.
