Windows Update Error

Tried to get to windows update but error came up and can't download the updates i need. Recently formatted compuer. Error code is 0x800A0005.
Plz Help!!

it was only 2 hrs you have to be patient we aren't here 24/7, check out this site (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q259725), it seems to have a solution, however this could be a firewall issue, what firewall do u have?

Is your clock set correctly and your firewall configured properly. I dont know why but i have seen firewalls causing problems for windows update before. Does it repeatidly download the same patch and then display the error?
