MSN Messenger problems right now!

Is anyone else having trouble signing into MSNM at the moment?

It's 17:00 GMT at time of posting...

Yeh I've been having problems:mad: - ba****ds

Seems to be ok now since I reinstalled Messenger...Google doesnt know anything about it, and the installer to reinstall it took 30mins to download at a digusting rate although I have broadband:mad: damn M$.

I've tried exactly the same thing, uninstalled, re-downloaded (again it took ages) and reinstalled but the damn thing still won't let me back in.

Their server status shows that they're "experiencing problems" at the moment.

I managed to get back on soon after posting above there..its 20:54 here (GMT). I wonder if Microsoft actually know anything about it, or were just doing "maintenance" on their servers:D

Well, typically when their service is down their "MSN Messenger Network Status" page mysteriously doesn't work either. Other times it just says "Everything is working fine."

But MSN has a lot of issues.

Unfortunatly, even if you use a different IM client, like trillian instead of MSN messenger, you are still using the same port/protocol to connect to their service:(

Very strange. On my computer (Mac OSX 10.3) i have two programs for messaging. MSN and Fire. When i load up MSN it logs me in i stay on then logs me out again... On fire it keeps me logged in and this is a Third Party Program.. V Strange! :eek:

hmm whats your firewall settings like on your mac?

Anyhow, I've had problems with MSN messenger...every day infact.:mad: - something I get used to:D

I must admit Geoffers, I have it on my PB and yeh, it does suck - like it keeps signing in and out every friggin 10 mins :mad:
