I know that this is a very overed question in every developers forums but i need to ask:


where can i find a host that supports mysql, php and possibily ( but not required ) PERL.

I also need it to be bannerless so that can show it to people.

http://www.coolfreepages.com - easily the best free host I have come across on the net.

This was from their email:

-Subdomain(choose from a few domains)
-50 megs of hd space,
-unlimited bandwidth,
-PHP4 support,
-Mysql,
-FTP access
-and no forced banners

The only thing we do is that we put a simple window on the background of the browser (a pop-under), so that your visitor sees it ONLY after leaving your site.

Bear in mind - that company will either go bankrupt or move the goalposts within 6 months - free providors never last because there isn't enough money in banner-ad revenue to support such a service.
