Using JavaScript, how can I detect diferent versions of Acrobat Reader Installed

I would like resolve the above issue for IE and NS browsers. I have noticed Acrobat Reader 7.0 has different object/file than the previous versions.

I would appreciate if you can help regarding the above issue at your earliest convenience.
