Convert ASP -> PHP?

I need POST to https (ssl) and have noticed a lot of ASP scripts out there...with no PHP available. I was wondering...Could one convert an ASP script to PHP and would it work? I could send it...

I believe there are actually tools you can use to convert ASP to PHP. But I would approach such beasts with extreme caution! :p
