Need Help with PhotoShops 'Save For Web', it loves png....

Hey

Ive been trying to get photoshop to save a graphic layout ive made and sliced up appropriately as .jpgs and html, only no matter what I tell it to save as it always saves the pictures as .png...whats with that? Heres what im doing, I have my sliced image that is a .jpg, I go to the 'Save For Web' and choose the presets for jpeg high and then hit save as html and images. this is all im doing but perhpas im missing a step or photoshop is just toying with me...

Seems odd. Set the naming convention to "custom" and tinker with those options. It might be forcing PNG somewhere in there, but unless you told it to earlier (or someone else using your computer did) that shouldn't be the case.

After pressing CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+S (Save for Web) press CTRL+A and then set the preset to JPEG. This will ensure that ALL slices are set to JPG. Then click "Save" in the SFW window.
