They're using my e-mail address, as the return address to send out spam!
How do I track down the origin of this page?.....
http://inetpromo75.diy.163.com/mortgage2/mortgage.htm
I recieved a spam message with links leading to this page, which is an e-mail sign-up form for a mortgage service.
Should I just go ahead & sign-up and see if they call me so I can find out what the name of the company is?
If I do that, then what?
Can I sue the hell out of them?
I'm seeing a few of these every now & then where they spoof my e-mail address. I don't want others out there to report my domain as being a spammer.
What do you guys think I should do?

You could try contacting the admin department of the people who they are using as hosts and see what they have to say about it, they may be in breach of some sort of contract.
Contact info is:

Make sure they didn't also SEND it from your site. Formmail is known for bugs. At the very least rename it.
<form action="http://www.atmscrip.com/scripts/formmail.pl" method=post onsubmit="return checkEmai...
I'm pretty sure they just spoof your email address to be cheap. No biggie, but very annoying, and very easy to do.

Well I doubt they are sending it from my site. I'm using a formmail scrip from NMS (London Perl Mongers) that is rigged specifically against things like this for security.
I'm not using Matt's scripts.....
My webhost will just say "they're spoofing your address, nothing we can do." (I've gone to them before)
Is there anywhere to report spam to that will actually get some results? Maybe I'll just go that route.

Well, the message I got used my e-mail address in one of my website's domains as the return address.
The message itself was an HTML message about mortgages with all the links in it pointing to a webpage that had a form on it. The page had a numerical address.
I went ahead & filled it out so maybe someone would call me from the company that's actually doing the mortgage stuff. I'm going to be real nice until I find out all the info I can about the company.
I might tell them I've retained Johnny Cochran, and Jessie Jackson to represent me and their company is in DEEP ****.......
I don't know what I'll do, but I am going to find out who this company is that hired the spammers to send message out for them.

There are several programs around which allow spammers to send email with the From: field filled in the the recipient's address -- basically, it prevents mail from bouncing back to the sender, and it bypasses many (if not all) spam filters.
You can probably find the originating IP in the mail header -- not that this is particularly useful, but it does give another group to complain to.
