help with guestbook

hi

im new to scripting and i am stuck installing a guestbook

i am trying to install the guestbook from MATTS SCRIPT ARCHIVE (http://www.scriptarchive.com/guestbook.html) and am having trouble getting it to worrk.

I have used the correct CHMOD settings that it says on the FAQ on MATTS SCRIPT ARCHIVE but it is still not working.

All of the paths are correct and i have checked and rechecked but cant see anything wrong.

any help please?

What do you mean by not working?

Does the script fail, or does the guestbook work, it just doesn't
write anything into the guestbook?

... and how did you upload the script? Using an FTP program?
I ask this because you need to upload the Perl script using an
FTP program set to ASCII mode. The usual default is BIN (binary).

Also, give us a link to your site so we can see what the form looks like.
