what is the idea behind the coolmenu which open that menu smoothly or if i want to make the menu onmouseover open smothly not like entire dive show & hide

You mean it opens gradually rather than the whole thing suddenly appears? What it might be is a transition filter - http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/workshop/author/filter/filters.asp
