Help with seemless leaf background

Ugh! I cannot seem to get this image to look right as a continuous, or seamless, background. Would someone be willing to help?

what you need to do is copy one half of the image, paste it on a new layer and place it on the opposite side of the image, add a layer mask with a dradient whihc makes the image more visible on the side of the image and voila

Hi, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I've read some tutorials (some of which state similar methods)...but I've reached an impasse. Problem is I'm still learning Photoshop and I've got a long way to go. :/

What exactly have you tried that isn't working? There are many different ways to approch the problem. Most of the solutions are not very complicated, just different.
