I find this (ExtraDataDocId="123") in the body tag of quite a few large ecommerce sites.
Does anyone know what it means or might refer to?
<BODY leftMargin=0 topMargin=0 marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" ExtraDataDocId="123">

Ya, I've seen stuff like that in a lot of big sites
For one thing, its invalid code and you should never imitate it or do something like it.
My guess is that its a way for them to track users throughout their site. Many web statistics applications have many nonstandard ways of analyzing their users, and this is probably one of them. Don't ever use stuff like this!
It could be a CMS property, something that a management system may refer to when creating the output HTML. Either way if they have properties like you've pasted, I wouldn't really care seeing as it is quite outdated.

Thanks for your comments guys. I think it might be from "Coremetrics" a web metrics tracking company. Maybe something to do with how they track.
I thought it was yet another bit of css, div, dhtml that I'd never heard of!! :(
