Hi everybody.
I want to write my own CMS. The reason why I want to write my own is that I can learn programming better when I have a real project.
So since I am already writting one then I thought I could ask you guys about features that needs to be included in a CMS.
So what do you what in a CMS??

Isn't it what you want from the CMS ;) . What is it going to be used for (overall, not the fiddly little details)?

@Chilipie: I think what Stephan is saying is that he's not actually planning on creating something for himself that he'll use (well not at the moment anyway) but wants to learn more about PHP by using an example/project so that he has something to work towards.
@Stephan: From a CMS the prinicpal requirements, IMO, are:
Add/Remove/Edit Pages
Add/Edit/Remove Menus
Add/Edit/Remove Content
Building on this you may also consider having a section to allow different users access to different areas. You could also have the feature to upload new templates to be used and then switch between the templates (a bit like most forums). A http file upload/download system.
I'm sure there are more things, that others can think of, but that's all I can think of at the moment:D
