Server Unicode Error

I am having problems getting ASP page altered with frontpage to work.

The server returns:

UNICODE ASP files are not supported.

I found a HTML meta tag that included "UniCode" and removed it, but the error remains.

How do I resolve this problem?

Do you have the original file (before it was altered with frontpage)?

I would start over from that and use something besides FrontPage (such as NotePad) to alter it.
