Hello,

On this page:
http://www.veritaz.com/home/weddings.htm

I am trying to avoid having the images preload. I have just put up this new site and I have noticed a steep drop in inquiries since it has been up. I have been trying to get to the cause of it and thought maybe it was because dial-up users could not view the pictures so did not bother sending an email to inquire about their wedding day. I could be wrong, but I want to try to fix this problem.

Can anyone help? If you have any other ideas why people may not be able to properly view the site, please let me know.

Thanks!

I don't think many if any images preloaded, and it loaded quite well on 56k, considering it was a photo gallery

First of all, validate it (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.veritaz.com/home/weddings.htm)! Having a page with invalid code can often make a browser go into quirks mode, which makes it render stuff differently. Also, look towards using CSS for formating, as it will dramatically decrease the file-size, and therefore download time. Good luck :) .
