You can get it from here:
It is pretty amazing, and they seem to have taken in a lot of suggestions, adding the popular handwriting feature...

I have been using this for a couple of months and I'm quite impressed (which, considering it's Messenger, is impressive in itself).
The support for obscure web cams is a lot better, and that mad nudge thing takes ages to get boring ;)

I know, I've been nudging all day!

having tried it i've found it suffers form the same problems as most new MS proggys, everything is huge and cartoony, the icons are massive and i can only fit about 18 people into my list at one time.
There's a stupid text advert on the bottom of the chat windows as well.
I dont like it.

heh..MSN Messenger annoys me BIG time:
1) loads of childish cartoons (or is it meant that way to appeal to kids? )
2) Very very unreliable - keeps signing in and out every 5 flippin' seconds
3) Messenger plus is handy at times, but also full of crap
Windows Messenger is a bit better, but Trillian is good - I just installed it earlier after being reccomended it by a friend. IntegrityMessenger I can't figure out...
god when will my IM problems end?
On the bright side, I might ditch IM altogether...well I might not - just depends on how things go:p

i used trillian for years but its lack of support for any webcams, custom smilies or display pics (ok, some stuff was added in trill2pro but i didnt have 2) and just the general lack of compatibility with msn users made it pretty much obsolete when msn6 came out
i still use msn 6.2 with plus 3.25, as plus3.4 is also beta and msn7 + !3.4 is just totally unreliable and although you can turn them off, half the features in msn7 such as nudges are just annoying and pointless
i cant see where that 18 contacts came from, i have 150 and i can get around 40 on a page without scrolling down.. i duno if the limit on msn7 has gone up, my m8 has 153
most of the "crap" on plus you actually probably chose to install, it makes it look like an EULA that you have to agree to because if you dont accept the sponsor it greys the box out, but without any anoying cluttering plugins plus is quite useful
and that ad at the bottom of msn can be hidden if you have plus ;)
