I have a question to ask: I'm trying to develop my site, and i want to try something new. Is it possible to make a code that shows something like snowflakes falling from the top of the screen? I'm thinking of some kind of snow shower. The snowflakes would enter from the left and top of the screen and fall diagonally down-right. Is it possible?

That's possible. It's not really anything new, though-- it's pretty much the required standard on any AOL or Geocities page, as far as I know.

Here's a link that I found on a Google search... it's my personal opinion and instructions to do it all in one! :D (I swear I didn't try to find particluar site on purpose...)

Great link, Richard.

More annoying and distracting JavaScript tricks can be found on JavaScriptKit (http://javascriptkit.com/cutpastejava.shtml), Dynamic Drive (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex3/index.html), JavaScript FX (http://www.javascript-fx.com/) (sic!) and HotScripts (http://www.hotscripts.com/JavaScript/Scripts_and_Programs/index.html).

By now, however, it shouldn't have escaped you that just because you can, doesn't mean you should...

The funny thing is, though, is that I actually saw one site where a snowfall effect was used tastefully and actually looked cool. Really small flakes, and really subtle. That's the link I was looking for when I found the one I posted above...

Go figure. :D

Via HotScripts: does this (http://www.24fun.com/downloadcenter/snow/snow.html) look like something you meant?

You're welcome; yes, we can be condescending and judgemental, and helpful at the same time.
