Start from last month, when I using my PC (AMD 1800), it will hang suddenly (no blue screen, just remain the current page). Even I press CRT+ALT+DEL also not working. I need to press the reset button to restart the PC. 1 week after, I found the the RAM are broken and I buy a new RAM and install it. But the same problem still occured. I guess that is because of my motherboard but not very sure. Anybody got same problem as me? Or Someone know the problem?
Thank you.
Well, you say you've changed the RAM sticks but the problem still occurs.
If you have more than one stick of RAM then i'd suggest trying one stick at a time to indentify any further problems.
Also does your PC 'stick' after a certain amount of time or when you do anything in particular?
Bit more info would be useful... ;)

i had this problem when i bought my current computer about 3 years ago...
I discovered it was because the dumbasses who I bought it off had overclocked the CPU without improving the basic cooling system, and the CPU was locking up in some kind of self-protection mode...
was most unimpressed.

I've had that as well. Turned out to be a motherboard chipset driver incompatibility with my OS (Windows 2000). Solution was to install the latest chipset drivers and then do all the driver hacks that I got reccomended. However, this is rare..so I think you might either have dodgy ram or Graphics card....could be that your Graphics card is secretly confliciting with your AGP system on your motherboard..
Download memtest from www.memtest.org - the dowloadable ISO creates a bootable CD which you boot from to check your ram out - trust me, it works:D
