Hiding e-mail addresses

For the record, I've tried to use the search feature on CF, but I never get ANY results. I say that because I'm positive this question has come up before.

How does one effectively hide e-mail addresses in HTML pages from all those little suckers out there?

This is why I go nuts on people who leave dumb, clueless titles, though... they kill all my searches...
