I am looking for a program called "2D Fireworks" paintshop (or something like that..). Does anyone know where I can download it?

You can get a trial version of Fireworks from Macromedia (http://www.macromedia.com/software/).

Well, if you're currently using paint and don't want to pay for a graphics app you might want to consider The GIMP (http://gimp.org/downloads/).
