Yeah, I've got a lot of C++ programs going on right now for those of you who have read all my C++ posrs lately :D .

Really, it's all in the title: Does anyone know how I can send an e-mail through C++ WITHOUT having to go through all that smtp crap? PHP has one: Mail(), VB has many, so C++ must have one, or at least a downloadable component (Read: FREE) to ease the process, right?

You need MAPI. I've never had to use it myself, but I'm sure there would be some good tutorials out there. Try googling for some. I'll have a look soon as well, you've got me interested. I'll look for some 3rd party libs as well.

There's always the Thunderbird source code ;)
