Requirements for practising

Hi masters,

To study and practise ASP, JSP, PHP, MYSQL,
what do I need to install in my computer.

Can I do them with a client type alone?

Thank you so much.

PS. I'm really new to these languages.

You can install MySQL, PHP, IIS etc on your computer to run the different scripts locally, or you can upload them to a web server which has them installed and run them from there. I think for JSP you have to install one of the Java runtime platforms. However, I wouldnt bother with ASP or JSP -I say learn PHP/MySQL.

It really depends on your understanding of different languages etc - I get very confused with ASP, but I can do some stuff in PHP/MySQL - just got to use the tutorials. However, I just experiment by trial and error.
