Ugly tansperncy

Hi guys. I'm trying to change the background of this picture but as you can see the whole background doesn't change. What am I doing wrong. I'm using paint since i don't have a graphics/photo editor

If you don't have the cash for a commercial graphics editor, look at The GIMP (http://www.gimp.org). It's free, not hard to learn, and definitely worthwhile if you're using paint.

Jpgs don't support any transparency. You'll have to save it as a .gif with index transparency (one color is transparent), with the area around the logo transparent, or as a .png.

I don't know if you can do that in Paint, you might have to upgrade to a decent image editor. Paint Shop Pro (Jasc) is pretty cheap, and gives you a free 30 day trial.

Well I downloaded gimp and played around with that. I got the thing to be transperrent but it still looks crappy. I give up.

this is the best i can do using the original image and at my current state of mind, i may have missed a few spots just lemme know where and i'll touch them up for u, quality though in the colors may not be the best since gifs only support 256 color :(
