Changing ordinal position and datatyperrhandle 02-02-2005, 04:36 AM Does anyone know how to change the ordinal number of a field and the field datatype in Access using ASP? Thanks jaywhy13 02-03-2005, 04:26 PM Alter keyword is used to change the properties of your database Try this (http://www.w3schools.com/sql/sql_alter.asp) link... its from w3schools.com. You should search that site sometimes before you post.... it has alot of stuff and info there! I also did a little search for you and here are some tutorials... I had a similar concern recently... hope these links help! :) This link (http://www.ilook.fsnet.co.uk/ora_sql/sqlhlp22.htm) directly discusses the ALTER keyword. This, I think is another useful tutorial... http://sqlzoo.net/howto/source/s.pl.htm?index=i02create.xml&e=sqlserver And the last link, a tutorial from plus2net (http://www.plus2net.com/sql_tutorial/sql_introduction.php). Hope these helped you out!!! rrhandle 02-04-2005, 01:13 PM Great tutorials! Thank you. jaywhy13 02-04-2005, 05:25 PM u r welcome man!!!! |
