I re-designed it. Creative criticism necessary :)

Mostly very nice; the blue-green combo is kinda brave, but it works well here.
I'd reduce the head's hight, though; at present, it takes up a mighty chunk of top-level real estate...

Furthermore, I'd like to see a little trim along the outer edges to separate the green background a bit; especially the transition from the white content background to the green is a bit... stark.

Codingwise, everything looks pretty good; I'd advice including a doctype (looks like XHTML 1.0 to me; strict?) and getting rid of the double line breaks in favour of actual paragraphs (p).
The main content could do with a little more whitespace, too.

Yeh i've had people tell me that it's brave to do a blue and green combo. I thought it worked well though. Yup, header height can be reduced.

A trim? You mean a border?

Doctype will be done soon.

Yeh the content is a bit bleak at the moment, i will be changing the style of the main news page soon.

Well... first of all, I didn't want to steer you in any direction, and second, I wasn't sure anyway. Border, dropshadow, pattern, whatever; I'm not that creative... :o

and getting rid of the double line breaks in favour of actual paragraphs
I didn't want to put this one in blinking red x-large, but: DO IT. Get rid of the double breaks and use paragraphs.

Doctype will be done soon
Excellent!

Believe me, it'll take me 30 seconds, it's just i'm using my FTP client for something else at the moment so i can't upload the updated version of my news script just yet. Be patient :P

Heh...
it'll take me 30 seconds

Have you done it already? And now?
I just repeated it because you didn't react to it; that might've indicated "of course, straight away" or "pfft; who cares".

Another remark: I really am a sucker for footers; it also give a visitor a clear indication that indeed the bottom of the page has been reached. Something to consider, perhaps.

I'll think about it :p

I like the look of it. The colors work for me. As far as a trim I'd try one out. Looking at it the color contrst has me seeing a orange border left and a grren border right. i know it's an optical illusion but.

caps are not my friend ;)

as for a footer, I'd agree. it doesn't look to bad with out one, but the padding on the "about" page has the text almost dead bottom. Maybe a faded image of your background on there?

all in all I rerally like it. Especially the faux 3-d buttons.

I's like to see a try out of usuing the background image in the pages. Maybe as a <h> background or something. something to tie it in more.

I could try it later on

It's only a php function doing that

Yeh it's not quite finished yet, i'll see what i can do

I made them all by myself :D

What kind of background though?
