I was wondering if anyone had any problems with any of the hardware I was going to use to build an additional computer.
CPU: Pentium 4 2.26GHz
Motherboard: ASUS P4T533-R
Memory: 2 x 256MB PC1066 (32-Bit) RIMM
Hard Drive: IBM 80GB 7200RPM ATA 100
CD-RW: Mitsumi 40x20x48x
DVD: Toshiba 16x48x DVD With DVD-RAM Read
Video Card: MSI GeForce4 MX 440 64MB
Monitor: CTL 15" LCD Flat Panel
Those are all the important compents worth mentioning. Just wondering what people thought. It isn't going to be playing very many games. Maybe the occasional DVD. It's mostly for office work and stuff like that.

I would go for a higher level of GeForce V card. Yes its a bit pricey by believe me its worth investing into. ;)

Why buy a pricey graphics card when he's going to be doing office work on it?

so he can boast and gloat about his monster PC (forged and tended to by his own hand from birth) of course. and so he can take a break off office work and have a quick game of quake3, CS or anyother stress relieving game!

:D Well.... Yeah playing games will probably happen more than it should but I decided not to go with a faster gfx card because:
1)Price
2)The MX 440 can run Q3A, CS fine.
3)The LCD panel's refresh rate is around 50Hz so there isn't a point to paying for gfx card that runs at like 120 Fps and only seeing 50 of them.
Thanks for the feedback.

did you know that the geforce MX4 is actually an optimized geforce. talk about a scam...
my computer falls into the category "to old to run games but not enough to be an antique" :(
