I need to be able to have a link to a page that is password protected and have it bypass the username and password box

Please give us more info.
1. What kind of authentication does the page use? Javascript, Asp, php, etc.
2. Will bypassing the password page be against the rules of the site? Like breaking and entering?

This thread is not going to get an answer, because even if the original post is genuine the correct reply could be easily abused by anyone who reads it. As has been demonstrated a few times recently such threads get locked.


Unless, of course, the answer is completely unique to the site in question.

Well, if it uses HTTP Auth there is a change that you can use the http://username:password@address syntax to provide a username/password and thus not have it ask the user. If you want to really bypass it though, that's an answer you'll not find here.
