Hi
I'm making a new banner for the replacment of my main website's design. I have a problem though. I wonder if someone could take a look and suggest what I can do to make it look good (shouts out for Graft-Creative:p)..

This sounds kinda stupid, but what I am doing is merging a photo of a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress with a Photo of the Essex Air Ambulance (Eurocopter EC135) - reason being that the main theme of my website apart from web design is aircraft, as that is my main interest :o. Anyhow - I've cropped and got the photos ready for the banner, inserted them and have been playing around with the Opacity to try and get the Eurocopter to be visable over the B-17, which dominates the image....I tried this for a while but just can't get the opacity right for doing this...

I've uploaded the source PSD for you to look at. It can be found here:

I would be grateful if someone could take a look and play around with it for me..cheers
Jamie.

Hi Len
Thanks - It looks better however I'm going to add a few more layers and images to it. Can I have the modified source psd?

Thanks again:thumbsup:

Jamie

BTW - before anyone asks, I do own copyright of both of those images:p

I deleted all the files already. All I did with the helicopter layer is use the Eraser Tool (E) to erase the backround.

* The blue/white layer was on top with the opacity set at less than 100%.
* The helicopter layer was in the middle with opacity set at less than 100%.
* The B-17 was at the bottom with opacity set at 100%.

All other layers were deleted and then the .psd file flattened.
