Does anyone know a good tutorial or script for uploading and automatically resizing jpeg files? Currently I am allowing the user to upload an image to the server and save the name in the sql server database but if the image is greater than 100K I am giving an error message to the user advising the user to resize or choose a smaller image. I want to be able to handle the resizing of the image at the server so my site will never have to send the error message and require the user to figure out how to resize an image themselves. Any help is appreciated.

How about this (http://www.crazybeavers.se/products_imagerresizer.asp)?

See this list for other choices:

Just wondering if you found a solution to this? I am doing a website for a landscape design company, and it would be very useful for the customer to be able to send photos of their garden through the website. however, I can image people will send photos straight from their camera as 1280x1024 bmp file!

Really need to be able to resize the image before it's even uploading - guess that's kind of impossible.
