The enclosed is a screen shot of a Flash site. The width and height of the centre section is fixed. The height of the bottom section (the grey colour part) will change based on the browser window height. It will disappear if the window is not high enough. My question is whether this layout can be done with CSS or not? If yes, how to achieve it?

No one response so far. I guess it is no way to achieve the layout with CSS.

What, was our free tech support service not fast enough for you? Would you like us to type "google.com" for you as well?
Oh, sorry, I couldn't help it. What you want is very easily acheivable with CSS. If all you want is a gray box to show up when the browser is a certain height, make the body background gray and align the container div at the top with a fixed height. A little trial and error should get the effect you're looking for.

Smart ideal! I didn't think to use the body background colour at all.
I have another look at the Flash site. The bottom white portion will also disappear if the browser window is not over certain height. I can't think how CSS to do the same thing again. Any suggestions?
