Screen Scraping

Using Javascript, I need to capture the contents of a URL and save the page's contents into a local variable. I can parse the contents once I have the raw page's source.

Can this be done in Javascript?

No, not really. Though the contents of a URL is saved to the users machine when they navigate to the URL. :confused:
