View Full Version : IE is doing weird ****
Jero.net (http://www.jero.net)
Try scrolling in IE and look at the right menu. Does anyone know how to solve this?
Update:
Here's how it looks in IE (http://www.jero.net/ie.png).

I am using IE5.5 at work - looks fine on that apart from a blip in the shadowing near the top of the right-hand content edge (there's one near the bottom of the page too).
What's wrong with it?
Like the header image by the way
Thanks, but I'll post a screenshot of what happens when you scroll.

i've read somewhere that IE doesn't render png images that well as background images, maybe try using a gif instead, thats only thing i could think of

K.
I will check it under IE6 when I get home too.

That could be it. I'll give it a try.
Hmmm, too bad, but that wasn't the problem.

What platform and version of IE did you test under Jero?

Hey Jero.... great site!!!!
And don't worry too much about that pic problem..... I'm no amateur and I was thinking "hmm.... interesting animation"
It won't bother your viewers!!!!
Great site again!!!!
Thanks Jay, for the feedback. But I do wish to get rid of it. It doesn't look really "pro" when a background suddenly disappears.

Do you use absolute positions for the titles but not the menu?
I've put all the parts of the right menu in one <div> which is absolute positioned.

Please use more descriptive post titles...
This should fix it, remove this line from your css
h3{margin-bottom:-12px;}
Sometimes negative margins do strange things.
