Hi, I don't know so much about Firefox seeing i just migrated into it a few weeks ago so i'll just tell you what i know.
When launching Firefox for the first time, it usually asks if you want to import your personal info from your other programs - (internet explorer, opera, etc). If you followed that, you should have all your stuff in Firefox. Also, what's meant by multi tabbed browsing - When u're on a page, and you want to open links on that page while keeping ur original page open, you just rightclick on the link and select "open in new tab" so you just have one window with lots of tabs in it. Very useful feature...
I'm sure there are more firefox addicts who can answer your questions better but there's the little i know...

if you go the "bookmarks" menu on firefox -> Manage bookmarks then on the window that comes up select File -> Import...

I usually find it more convenient to enable middle-clicking to open tabs, so instead of two clicks on the context menu, I can just middle click (the scrollwheel, or whatever).
