Hey everyone,

I hope this is in the right location, if it isn't my apologies.

Just a couple quick questions about using VPNs, hopefully someone could help me out. I set up a VPN using the Windows XP Networking software, and I'm able to connect just fine.

My question is, can I somehow communicate with other computers on the network that I'm connecting to? If so, how?

The other question I have is, is it possible to share my music from iTunes on my PC over the VPN to my laptop connected remotely to the VPN?

Thanks in advance :)

Dave

hmmm, is that the routing tables on the server or routing tables on my router? and how should I set them up? Sorry, I'm a complete n00b when it comes to VPN stuff.

Thanks very much for your help,

Dave

communicating could be done using microsofts messenger, works in a lan...

routing tables are normally off a router, unless you are doing some sort of internet sharing through a single computer with multiple nics then it would be there...
