Equivalent in VB from Javascript

Are there any equivalent commands in VB Script or ASP for the following Javascript commands:
split()
substring(a,b)
indexOf()
charAt()

I need some Fancy String handling functions and functions on arrays to use in ASP....
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated :thumbsup: :D
