Hi,

Is it possible to host WAP sites on the webspace BTYahoo provides? If not does anyone know of where I can host one I've programmed myself? (wapdrive's register link doesn't seem to work).

Also, is it possible to use PHP with WAP sites?

I'm looking to make a simple WAP site for someone by christmas so I really need to know!

Thanks,

Neil

I don't know about hosting WAP sites, but I don't really see why you can't use PHP. It's all done server-side, so as long as it's output is "WAP friendly" I don't see why not.

So you just mean to get the php to output wml code? Does anyone know where I can get hosting?

Thanks,

Neil

HostMatrix (http://688206002.hostmatrix.org/promotehm.php?user=chilipie) is good - reliable, plenty of features and you can upgrade for free.

I don't know anything about WAP sites :) , but if you're refering to uploading files:
1. Sign up on the forums and request a hosting account.
2. Once you have your username and password, open cPanel.
3. Click on "File Manager" and upload your files.

OK I've entered my username and password for those forums in the cpanel thing but it doesn't work :( Do I have to register seperately?

Thanks,

Neil

If you really want, I can upload the files to my account for a month or however long you want them up?

Thanks v much for the offer, but I've tried uploading a wml (wap) page to my hosting that comes with my internet connection and it doesn't work; I think you need a special server to host wap sites.

Thanks anyway,

Neil
