history.go(url) works for Netscape 4.x and 6.x but doesn't seem to work for IE5x or 6x. Anyone have any suggestions to do something like this in IE?
Thanks - Cheri

Are you using absolute URLs? jeepzy3 08-26-2002, 06:49 PM At first, I had the pgm name only add_form.cgi. Then I tried 2) passing the full url w/o the parameters and then I tried 3)passing the full url with all the parameters. All 3 ways didn't work in IE. The 3rd way didn't work for Netscape either. jeepzy3 08-26-2002, 06:55 PM Oops. When I entered the full URL, I had the wrong file name. It works now but I have to enter the full URL with all the parameters - guess IE looks for an exact match while Netscape can use a substring. |
