Is there an equivalent to Microsoft's Mobile.net for php, where we can send data to cell phones?
Thanks

never heard of mobile.net but if you mean web-pages for mobile phones then WAP/WML is what you want, WML is language independant - i.e. you can write it in anything but you need a WAP server I believe, as for web-services they too can be written in most languages, & I assume combining the 2 is what you mean?
check out http://www.w3schools.com/wap/default.asp and http://www.ssimail.com/WAP_gateway.htm for more info

Well, I heard about "Mobile.Net" initially from one of the sites you suggested: w3schools.com and I thought it was a common term, that ppl would know about it. It turned out that it isn't talked about specifically anywhere but on that site (I looked around).
Since it was part of the Microsoft.Net program, I figured it would run on ASP, and I didn't want to use that, so I wanted to know if there was an equivalent of that on Php.
Thanks for the info anyway
