dreamweaver beginner!

hi i just started using dreamweaver and i set the template as a background now here the problem i want to insert text in the "main content" section on the page but its just at the side ive tried using the aligging bit but thts no use please help me ASAP!

So your text is 'just at the side'? Which side? Which side do you want it to align to? Left, centre, right, justified?

Oh yeah, there's more, maybe just a bit... and based upon your attitude you'll never get there.

You need to read the help text on templates and their proper useage... in other words... a template is for more than just a background. Have you created an area for the text.... and set up an editable region? .... hummm and good luck!
