1st, i am new at this. I have 3 includes in 1 asp doc-left,header,main. header contains my menu. I want to click the menu and change the main incude file, but I don't know how to. I though a window.location.replace line could work. what should i do?

number a, thats javascript

this is pretty siple, the page generated is just these 3 includes put together but you cnt do dynamic includes.. however you should be able to do this

<!--#include file="header.asp" -->
...
<!--#include file="left.asp"-->
...
<%Server.Execute(Request.QueryString("page"))%>
...

so if you put this on a file called default.asp you could go to http://..../?page=home.asp
