It's all a bit monotone really. Apart from the navbar, which i really like, it's all grey. I do like sites where they have lots of different shades of grey, but this is taking it to the extreme :p . Try maybe adding a red tint somewhere, or summin' like that. The Google ads don't look to good either. It makes your site look like it puts money before the actual quality of the content.

yeah i just noticed that there are literally no pictures on the site, i'll add a stock photo with a blue shade to it...

Yeh it needs different colours OR stronger shades, they're only a couple of tones higher or lower which means it's really hard to depict certain sections of the website ;)
