tRyme 12-09-2004, 11:12 PM Hello, I need a young talented Javascript + PhP programmer with a good knowledge about web designing. Your job will be just putting some finishing touches on a partially completed work.
I will pay you not less than $500 a week depending on how good you are.
The quickest way to reach me is by adding me to your MSn chat. My MSN id is
holyy_sinna@hotmail.com
I will be waiting for a response.
Thanks.
Willy Duitt 12-09-2004, 11:21 PM Hmmmm;
An anonymous hotmail address is not indicive to trust...
Do you have a Domain and site where interested parties can visit to validate the legitamacy of your offer??
Besides, this belongs in the Work Offers and Request forum...

Basscyst 12-10-2004, 12:24 AM LMAO - Especially one email address marked holyy_sinna, perhaps that is a name, but it seems ironic. And why do they have to be young?

scroots 12-10-2004, 06:49 PM i rember reading once in .net magazine, when a web designer didn't get paid for his work. The designer, made a simple text page, search engingefriendly and got it the top of results. So when people say googled for the company the results where:
1)So and so does not pay there bills
2)The company the user was looking for.
It was really funny i thought.

What currency is this in? American? Would you pay up front?
Yaggles 01-17-2005, 02:12 AM What currency is this in? American?
*Notice the "$" (dollar sign) in his post... doesn't that mean it's american? As far as I know, the dollar is the American currency... and I am American, so I would know*

Not nessecarily. Depends what country you are in.
"$" also is the symbol for dollar in Canada which is different from American currency. and I AM CANADIAN, so I would know.
hemebond 01-17-2005, 05:12 AM New Zealand and Australia also use the dollar.
dniwebdesign 01-17-2005, 05:31 AM Thanks hemebond. Most of them Americans should realize that the world doesn't revolve around them.
Sorry hemebond if you are truly American.

Easy now... You can try but please be forewarned that unlike Canada, US citizens are well armed, including the women we left behind... So don't expect to just walk in and take anything... In fact, it would be rather embarrassing to have have our women folk beat up on you... :D

dniwebdesign 01-17-2005, 10:29 AM Nah, with our layers of clothing it'll be like bullet proof vests... Even with your AK47's and sawed off shotguns. And it is only a misconception that we aren't well armed...
Ok, I think this thread has gone astray enough to warrant a closing. So closing.
