converting flash to jpg using actionscript??

Is it possible to convert flash to an image using actionscript? and then save the image to a database like mysql?

Can't be out of the question, since it's binary code, I would imagine it's completely possible. That might be a question better catered for their forums at macromedia flash developer (http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/index.cfm?forumid=15) -- as I'm not 100% sure of that:), or exactly how to code it.
