Has anyone got any code I could have a look at that has been used for a WordPress template - I'm not really sure which bits of code I need, and how to put the damn thing together. Thanks ;) .

index.php and wp-comments.php are the files you need to change to create a style...

Thanks  .
Another question: If I put the search in my sidebar, can I make it target the results in the main content area?

I think this could be of some help to you:
http://boren.nu/archives/2004/11/10/anatomy-of-a-wordpress-theme/

Also, I gave Error404 a stripped down Wordpress template (just PHP and the function calls) that he could pass on to you (Geoffrey - I can't find it anymore, can you give it to him please?). That template has handling for single posts, monthly or yearly archives, searches and 404 errors; all in one file. The news section of this site (http://greatpikespeakbirdingtrail.org/) is based on that template if you want to see it in action. news.php isn't running that template, but each post, the archives, categories and search results all use it.

Off-Topic: I dumped my WP project... Came to the conclusion that there were better (and easier) ways to do what I was wanting to achive, and I plan on coding that after my exams end (start tomorrow, end on Monday).

Look at my location, Scotland, so no. These are just school exams, I've got CE at the end of this year (in the summer :p)

CE: The Common Entrance examinations are used for assessing boys and girls who transfer to senior schools at the ages of 11+ and 13+.
