hey yo!
don't take it personally about what I say / or what anyone else says...we're just trying to help you out :)
Heres what I like:
easy navigation and easy to read (well organized)
most of the header image
zebra tables on your arts.php page
subtle lines that make the site easier to figure out what you're looking at
Much better than the original n-next.com - although it could use some of the cool graphics that your new site lacks
Here's what I dont like:
the mario in the title image - you've got the right idea - but he just contrasts the subtle color of the page too much - maybe you could blend him in with the background a little more
everything is soo close in color - i'd add a little spark of red (same color as the "ds" in your title and maybe make some of the divider lines red...
title image looks kinda thrown together...you have 4 different items in it that are just kinda randomly lined up
table based layout - not as bad as some sites but could easily be made into a CSS layout...its ok cuz you're going at it from a more transiitional approach...but if you could just switch to css it would save a ton of trouble..(heh i just got my copy of Designing with Web Standards and im loving it!)
the header links aren't especially great - maybe you could try some subtle rollovers or something.
Well thats my 2 cents hope this helps

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1 Strict//EN"
There is no such thing as XHTML 1.1 Strict
The URL is for XHTML 1.0 Strict
Chose a standard XHTML doctype

I like the fact that your navigation is big and easy to see, however it just doesn't go with your links on the left hand side that are done neatly in CSS. Also, because this is a site about Nintendo, I'd give it a lot more color. I also noticed you didn't have any meta description tag. You don't want to forget that! But overall, its looking very nice, good job man.

http://www.n-next.com/omg.php takes a long time to load. Also is the page mean to be vertically scrollable?
In firefox, there is a blank main table. To the right of that there is a table with "Preview" and "Review" headers. Is this supposed to be where it is? The page looks kinda weird the way it is.

Sorry, that page is outdated.
I don't know why you guys bumped this old topic. I just made a new one.
